Thing #7

I chose to explore Flickr again today. I got so caught up in looking at the pictures this weekend, I lost track of time and did not get to complete my post! There are so many beautiful picture on this site. I selected to add this one to my blog, because I absolutely love watching the sky. Anytime there are clouds in the sky I take a moment to watch them and enjoy their beauty. I also enjoy playing the game of describing clouds with my children my children on pretty days.

The clouds above almost look painted the swirls are so detailed. They have a dark and gloomy look about them, yet they are so beautiful you can not help to admire them.

I am not so sure how I would use Flickr in my classroom. It could be a good tool for keeping parents informed of what is going on using pictures. I would think you would need to have a way of setting up a personal group though. I have never used a program like this. I am always a little hesitant to put picture on the internet where strangers may locate them easily.
